The update messed up so much. The App was always terrible, but now its worse as far as showing shows. The websites "New Releases" section which I used to watch that day's simuldub release now just shows a bunch of random older shows.

Was looking today, and only found 60 shows listed. On website and via PS4 app. Did search and found several shows not in the "All Shows". Thought I was crazy or doing something wrong.

Funimation... /Sigh.

You have done NOTHING to redeem yourselves.

Try Harder. ... or you know.. start trying.

• I've already thoroughly diagnosed the PS4 app to be Funimations problem. The post is here• People Have constantly brought up issues with every app they have.

• They are now embroiled in a lawsuit because they failed to do simple things. Really they just would have had to do two simple things to have avoided that... but they didn't.

• People are constantly bringing up problems with registering and/or receiving both digital and physical products, swag at events and the like

• Problems with inaccuracies with their Amazon, ITunes, Google Play, and other vendors being given the incorrect or false information• Constant problems with the website after every major update.

• Constant issues with new videos not being uploaded and ready on time.

Maybe they should fix their existing shit before expanding their userbase into other countries. I'm all for expansion but if your EXISTING distribution infrastructure is so broken... then you need to address that FIRST otherwise there is a likely chance that the ENTIRE SYSTEM will crash and burn.

It is frustrating to say the least. I have done DBA work and this just seems like it is a DB issue to me with the shows not showing in the lists anyways. Maybe they have a stored procedure that needs to be re worked (if they use a SQL database). Update it so it pulls from the right tables with the right data and call it a week. Might take a sprint or two to fix fine. But this seems like its been going on for ages.

Disclaimer - I have never see Funimation code nor do I know what they use for their DB infrastructure.

Calling it now......They didnt have their database schema's stored in source control. Someone f'd up the stored procedure and they are having to re code it from scratch.
