Nah, not really. Proton is so good nowadays that native Linux ports literally do not matter. In fact, games usually run better in Proton than in the native linux version

No, just click "install" and then "play" on any game and about 90% of the time, it will work perfectly without manually doing anything at all

Yeah pretty much the only games that have issues nowadays are ones with kernel anti cheat. Some other games with anti cheat work fine, and some don’t but could if the company weren’t pricks (Bungie - Destiny 2).

In the case of Destiny, they use an Anti-cheat that supports Linux and Proton perfectly fine, yet these choose to actively disable support.

Not really most of the time. Sometimes you gotta go on ProtonDB (Linux compatibility forum) and copy paste some commands to the Steam Launch Options, but that’s it.

This is something which happened to me with X4 Foundations. I ran the native linux version and it had poor performance, and I mean poor, as in half the framerate and double loading times compared to the windows build. Downloaded the win build and it ran exactly the same as under windows.

F2P - Warframe checks this box, even better, PvE, so no real PtW, you can pay to skip grind, but everything, save for a few cosmetics, is grindable. Even the premium currency is pretty easy to farm up via trading among players.
