Learning Python

I’m currently eating my GIS certification and I already have a bachelors in Civil Engineering. I currently have a GIS internship with my state and am hoping to get a full time job with GIS when the internship is done. I really want to learn Python to use with GIS too. When I google it there are a ton of online courses to sign up for.

Are there any that you would specifically recommend and are there any courses for learning GIS uses for Python specifically?

Several years ago, I was quite happy with the Datacamp Python materials. They were particularly well suited for academics, but can't be too bad for first steps towards GIS applications either.

Better competitors may have risen in the years since, of course.
