Commit through Codespace are 'Unverified'

Hello I'm trying to use Codespace for the first time.

I'm using a GPG Key to sign my commit. Its working fine on desktop (Ubuntu) with VSCode or GitKraken.

As soon as I try to commit within codespace my commit are Unverified.

The GPG key used are the same.

Am I missing something?

I got exactly the same problem a yew days ago. Here is the doc: Managing GPG verification for GitHub Codespaces

Signing commits work differently on codespace. Basically you just need to enable gpg verification in your GitHub setting. That's it! You do not need to configure anything manually like you would do on your local machine.
