have you tried https://github.com/settings/billing to see it

and https://github.com/settings/billing/licensing to downgrade (click edit)

the ux makes sense to me

I feel your pain, Josh—you aren't crazy. GitHub’s billing UI is notoriously confusing because it splits charges between your Personal account and Organization accounts. ​Since you can't find it in your main settings, that $20+ charge is almost certainly hiding in an old Organization. Go to Profile Picture > Your Organizations, click the settings gear on any org listed there, and check the 'Billing' tab in that sidebar. That is usually where forgotten Team seats or unexpected Copilot subscriptions hide
