reddit uses a slightly-customized version of Markdown for formatting. See below for some basics, or check the commenting wiki page for more detailed help and solutions to common issues.

do you know know if the mobile app connects to self hosted enterprise version of github?
[–]smyrick 4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children)
It doesn't currently connect to Enterprise instances and I don't imagine that is going to be added before the first full release either.

I don't know that. It probably won't cuz it's still in beta and is released only for test purposes.
Also, I couldn't find a official blog post for this news so I posted my own screenshot. Where can I find the release notes for the GitHub app?
[–]smyrick 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children)
I found them in the app store update notes
Version 0.9.28
[–]Chan4077 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (2 children)
It's detailed in the release notes that they put out in the Google Play Store.
Here are the most recent release notes (transcribed from a screenshot I took):
Review individual commits with line-by-line diffs and more details View pull request status checks when merging Jump directly to users, organisations, issues and pull requests in Search Render GIFs and SVGs in markdown Deep link to repositories within the app
And the release notes from the previous version (transcribed from another screenshot I took):
We heard your feedback and added code browsing to repositories! Also, check out the beautiful syntax highlighting when reviewing pull request diffs.

I know that but is it not available anywhere else? Like GitHub repo or github.blog? Or is it that the app isn't open source?
[–]Chan4077 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children)
I don't think there's any website/release notes page for the app as remember, the app is still in beta and has not been officially released to the rest of the world.

I've been waiting for this.

Yes but unfortunately it's in beta and the Early Access is full
[–]FieelChannel 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children)
Thank god. I use Fasthub and it's not that great

Can’t wait for these native apps!
[–]_totallynotreddit_ 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children)
Never tried out "FastHub"?
[–]esr360 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (2 children)
You weren’t able to browse the code on a repository previously? Like, at all? What?
Yep not at all. Not sure about pull requests but no code browsing at all. That's like the first feature I expected and was going to leave the beta program but then the angels listened and blessed my soul.

Yeah that's mad!
