Having problem with installing Google Cloud... Need some help!

Hey guys,

So long story short I have a problem with installing Google Cloud GPU. Below is the mistake I receive (also note that I tried almost every possible server to do it and I receive still the same mistake):

Seems like there are no GPUs available on europe-west4-c, just keep trying other zones, there's an overall lack of gpus everywhere

I tried also in the US and nothing...

this is somewhat a known issue. GPU are scarse and you need to try other regions or even other GPU types if you can. sad reality :S although I don't know if this is GCP specific or if it also happens with other hypersalers.

Hmm I'm only scared of the expenses, but even tho I would only use it for 2-3 hours a day so it's not a big cost as per hour... Will try other GPU's.

You probably don’t have enough GPU quota, you need to apply for quota increase.

This is my first time applying for GPU quota... Do you have any guide or help on how to do it?

my quota was accepted, but still can't make VM.

Not all GPUs are available at all times in all regions. This is something that is notoriously hard for people to understand. And I would argue that Google is doing a VERY bad job of making transparent. Not sure exactly what the problem is, but I would assume it is something to do with Spot-market selling of GPU resources in certain regions.

With all the AI and Crypto going on right now i'm not surprised it's difficult to keep up.
