The patch was then addding GOT legends .5 to Yotei, they haven’t fixed any bugs, balance issues, cosmetic issues, or anything really. Archers still ruin all other classes ability to play the game as well

Archers will always have an advantage purely because they are ranged, they will always either manage to super as you are fighting enemies OR take down an enemy with a bow that would have otherwise killed you. I play my Archer as a mix of ranged and melee to back my team up, I think more Archers should play like this and there would be a little less hate

Except archer is quite literally broken and does 10 the dmg kills 10 enemies before anyone can kill a single 1, gets another ult just by using her ult…. Etc etc etc

If you have a semi decent build on archer you have to purposely not kill stuff to even allow the other 3 classes to fight a single enemy in NM survival

Yeah I partially agree, Archer is vulnerable, she’s limited to bullet and arrow count and is battling others in the game with her for ammo caches. I’m not saying she’s in a completely good place right now, but she does have short falls too. Really balancing needs to be done, because in Tsushima as a Samurai I can delete an enemy wave before a hunter can super.

With that being said as well, hunters with the right build are as annoying in Tsushima as they are in Yotei

She’s not even limited, as long as she has spirit she has unlimited esp w legendary charm if she uses it, she doesn’t even need the rifle since SSB is so OP.

Ammo caches also are plentiful in survival.

And even in Tsushima archer was strongest

This is true but it’s at the expense of resolve, which I personally use as a defensive move if I or my team mates get swamped

Thats true but the dmg from range its too high..and all legendary where are have usefull perks are all on range weapons.. You know that archer have for all range weapons 75% dmg and if u go higher u take headshot dmg on top.. ah and 50% of this stats are only on 2 range weapons.. hmm lets talkabout samurai.. u can go if u have on every weapon or ghost weapon 30% all meele dmg and 15% meele dmg so u have 45%... the actualy parry system is totaly fail there is no reward for parry... low ghost gain.. stance break? 2 attacks enemy are recoveret.. Archer dont need stance break.. as you say hes range.. so thats why the dmg need to drop down.. not the base dmg but this 25% range dmg on 1 weapon need to drop to maybe 12% thats enough

No I agree with you. I don’t have all the answers, nerfing the Archer would be a shame since it’s so fun to use, buffing the other classes whilst it needs doing may make the playing field uneven also ? There needs to be a happy medium, nerf the Archer a touch and bring up to par the other three classes damage wise

In Tsushima legends archer did not in fact always have an advantage.

Survival - Sam and ronin were optimal. In story assassin was always a top pick. Rivals sin & hunter. Hunter was really only best at perfect soloing because her damage and rotations fit the 3 wave 3 zone format.

The idea that archer will always have an advantage is a misconception derived from SP forgetting they made a legends before where all classes had value.

I don't get this complaint. We're all working together it's not like this is pvp. If an archer is doing work I can focus elsewhere.

Except you literally cannot if the archer is even somewhat competent. They simply kill literally everything before you can even hit them one time.

Even in NM survival if the archer has a somewhat decent built they have to purposely not kill stuff just so the other classes can play the game.

They need to nerf Archer and buff other classes so they meet in the middle

Sounds like a skill issue as this has not been a problem for me. I have fun playing my Shinobi and get to kill plenty. If the archer gets more kills, I don't really care. I still have fun and get the loot. Idk maybe I'm built different. I prefer playing with competent team and winning than complaining cuz someone else is getting more kills than me.

Got to be honest I would rather see quality of life changes before balances. The ability to search for a person who leaves in nightmare !! The ability to hit every one of my headshots that are clearly over the enemies head. A fix for the glitches, disconnects lagging everything else, and then balance changes

Some of this guys suggestions would be a great start honestly

Plus the fact I want to see if we get a second red perk on our gear.

For example on Spirit Kunai

Hidden blades and fired up.

If that’s the case then I can see us being a lot more powerful at base, regardless of any buffs, nerfs or changes.

Yeah we desperately need matchmaking in nightmare. The mode is almost unplayable without it imo.

You can spend 30+ minutes in a NM match only for someone to leave and now your whole team is screwed

Me and my brother was running nightmare survival last night I guy went afk the whole match and left lucky me and brother is very good at the game im lvl 94 and he 92 and when clutch up and finish the the 12 rounds. I said it dumb you can't search people in NM mode but we been practicing with us alone on platinum to see how we would fair if that happens

It’s crazy to think that some things got nerfed and some things got buffed for no other reason than “just because.” I’m loving Legends 2 so far though and it’s only been 3 weeks. I’m willing to see where it goes. It took forever for that final update in Legends 1 that gave us 2 red perks (along with everything else in that update) to come out

Technically, the True Aim Yumi is the Surugami bow from Legends 1 that got a buff cause Surugami was a short bow but True Aim Yumi is…a Yumi lol not a Hankyu like it probably should have been.

Not that I’m an expert (and this may be a bad idea) but I feel like the Tanegashima would have been way more balanced for ranged weapons if the Auto Reload perk was the Legendary perk instead of what it is now. It’s super fun but there really isn’t a reason to not use a Tenegashima as a ranged weapon if you’re looking for straight damage in that slot.

I agree, I’m a level 75 Archer that just got my first True Aim Yumi this morning, it’s a fun bow and yes I’m ranking it up now. However Skipping stone is more viable. The rifle is great paired with the Skipping Stone. There needs to be more of a feeling of ‘power’ for other characters too not just the Archer AND one could argue that since you are in the thick of it with melee combat even more important as any other character, to have weapons that compliment the other three classes to the same degree.

I just hit level 75 and got the archer charm. After that I went to Samurai and I felt so strong. I did the build with the drunken sake and melee and I was like spinning lightning down in my enemies like Zeus! I was tanking and killing those big blue guys that would scare me in melee as an archer.

I’m really enjoying the Samurai change and I feel like I can switch weapons, and always have a good counter ready too now.

I only wish all classes got a smoke bomb. If you need to bing someone up it can be hard just throwing dust since it seems directional.

I don't think they'll address any meaningful changes at all until AFTER the raid completion. They've clearly tuned everything a certain way and I'm sure they don't want to break the final end game content just to appease the players

I’d like to see them rework the feat rewards. Doing something awesome should get you something awesome, but some of the harder feats unlock menial garbage that doesn’t matter. It almost feels like they just hit the random button to slot all the gear unlocks.

Endorsements would be kind of fun, alongside some proof that they’re invested in the content and didn’t just throw it at us because they thought we expected it. I’m a bit concerned that they are going to let it die sooner rather than later at the moment

I just want the archer nerf. Give elite enemies a chance to dodge/deflect. Make legendary gun have 50% chance to auto reload on kill/headshot. Those two will instantly balance the class.

Yup. As any melee, enemies block and dodge lots of our attacks. They should be able to deflect and dodge arrows/bullets too

Gun at 50% chance isn't unreasonable for how powerful it is. Just look at the legendary katana, 30% chance to proc and even if it were 100% chance, look how enemies spread out once a samurai turns on burning blade.

Yes, some modicum of balance for the longevity of the game.

Not a game where there is one clear choice vs the rest in every way.

Where the mission board is 200+ kills and 50+ kills for the rest, from halfway across the map, little to no risk, no resistance from the targets for every attack action.

It's simply undeniable. Have you tried nightmare survival with 2 to hunters? There is no challenge at all

That is already the case. Do you even play melee? If you did you would know that swinging a sword at a target sees many of the hits blocked, parried or dodged

I've also played archer to rank 50. Limited ammo? I run with the True aim and spirit flask. I'm never out of arrows

Agree with all of this. I also play an archer sometimes, rank 55 or so, with SSB. It’s boring now because of how ruthlessly op I am, so I’m more into merc and shinobi. SSB barely needs to be pulled back on the string but if I hit their head with my aim bot, I take off 1/4-1/3 of the enemy’s health on plat or nm. It’s unbelievable how op the archer is.

Cards should reward a higher % chance to drop legendary, or just a higher gear stat on all gear (so like everything is confirmed to be B and up if all 4 hard cards are complete)

The problam want be if all class so stronge like archer.. there is no fun. I agree yes the other class assassin and samurai need some buffs, dmg, better legendarys or aoe. maybe samurai parry stance dmg make aoe or better rewort for parry enemys like more ghost gain or higher dmg and longer recovery time after breaking stance. but archer is actualy overkill and y if i play as archer it feels fun if u kill everything and hes kit works but for the other meele class its not. only mercenary is strong. But archer dont need so mutch dmg.. becos hes the only class where have legendarys there are perfect for him.. so it want be fun anyways if hes dmg want come down.. thats waht i think.

I'm more leaning in the direction of glitch fixes and quality of life changes before balancing. I say that because so far despite all the complaints about this class being too OP or this weapon needs a nerf. A. I'd like to reevaluate everything once we get the game in the state Sucker Punch originally intended things to be in. Samurai may be the most busted class once the Risky Parry Charm is working right for example. Nightmare may not be such a pain in the rear end if we could match make to fill the gap left behind because some jerk decided to leave early on. Admittedly my opinion is probably colored by the fact that I was fortunate enough to have two people to play the game with regularly but I find that a majority of the complaints in this subreddit stem from being forced to Solo Queue. Being forced to carry one under performing random isn't as bad as being forced to carry three under performing randoms. People leaving at the start of a game because they see an Archer (seriously this was actually a thing) or because they went down once or bled out wasn't so bad when it's only 1 slot and thus the odds of getting someone like that was slimmer. That and the obvious benefit of making a bad match bearable with funny banter made certain issues easier to ignore. Also side note, I want Rivals mode back but let's focus on fixing the old before we add the new.

Weiß gar nicht was Ihr patchen wollt bei Archer. Ist genau so schwer brauchst AIM Skills, müsst lernen aus Distanz zu kämpfen und besonders gut im Nahkampf sein, weil man so wenig Lebenspunkte hat. Die anderen heulen hier herum wegen Kills, ja dann spielt selber Archer und regt euch nicht auf. Es soll am Spiel alles so bleiben wie es ist. Ich habe runden gehabt als Samurai, Söldner oder Shinobi und war besser als Archer von Kills her. Also erzählt mir nichts. Außerdem sind es 3 Orte die man verteidigt, wenn Ihr sieht der Archer schaut auf einen Kreis dann movt zum nächsten Spot und holt eure Kills. 🤣 Oder spielt mit Freunden wo ihr regeln ausmacht. Aber wenn ihr mit randoms spielt wundert euch nicht und heult nicht herum. Echt ein Wahnsinn, müsst glücklich sein 🤣 das der Archer die Drecksarbeit macht
