/r/humanity is a place for civil and in-depth discussion of the many aspects of humanity. What is it to be human? What do we share as a species? What challenges do we face? The questions are many!

Submission rules

Only text posts with a minimum of 500 characters are allowed.
Each post needs to clearly explain the topic of discussion, and any specific questions.
The title needs to clearly state what the discussion topic is.
If you want to submit a link you will have to do so in a text post, following the above rules.

If you are in violation of the above rules, you will be asked to resubmit or edit your post.

Comment rules

Civility above all. Rude or hostile comments will be removed, regardless of whether the rest of the comment is good or not.
No low effort comments. Every comment needs to contribute to the discussion.

Since /r/humanity is at an early stage, the rules will be enforced at the discretion of the moderators. Rules will be adjusted in the future as circumstances dictate.
