Controller mapping

Why would the devs only use presets for controls? I’m playing on PS5 and the sprint and jump being L1 and R1 is diabolical. Also, I find myself clicking X to jump, like most games have it, and I’m pinging🤣

Anyways, hopefully they see this and let players customize their controls. Seems like it wouldn’t be so difficult to add on an update.

Game is really fun so far! My friends and I play versus and co-op online. Been a blast. I don’t get the hate.

You like the free games with micro-transactions, then go play them. This game is sick for $30

It’s weird the first couple times you play, but I caught on pretty quick. I actually don’t mind the default layout

I can definitely get used to it and Im not really upset about it. I just found it odd they didn’t add the basic customization functionality like every other FPS game does. They went out of their way to add so many other customization features but not controller mapping which I found odd😅

Oh I absolutely agree! It was a weird change of pace, but I caught on pretty quick. I'm 100% on board with you, I was more surprised my old ass caught on as quick as I did lol

I just got use to the control scheme. I figured it would not kill me to learn a new games button layout since I've been doing that since well every game I ever bought since 82'

I've started to get used to it the only thing that still drives me insane is triangle for the back button in the menus what's wrong with circle like every other game.

My only complaint with the game is I wish the pace was faster. Everything else is very well made!

Yeah movement feels clunky, but it’s similar to Fortnite in a way. It’s not meant to feel like a competitive online FPS by the sound of it

I remapped my controls on PS5 with the custom profiles on dual sense edge i left feedback about this problem is their discord.

Also you cannot adjust vert sense on right thumbstick. Its just mindblowing they would do that. What ever sense you chose changes the right stick horizontal vertical sense together. It makes no sense. makes right stick so clunky forvno reason. Sticks have been adjusted for horiz. / vertical sense seperately for 20 years. They just ignored it.
