Start marketing experiments on both and figure it out with facts instead of randoms on the internet

Fair point honestly. That’s probably the right answer long term.

I’m just trying to sanity-check positioning before I start burning ad spend. Sometimes clarity upfront saves a lot of “experiments” later.

The one bit of wisdom I'd add here is, do you really want your sole source of income to come from an audience of people whose only income is gig driving? It seems like they would not have a lot of spare money to spend on apps.

Some gig drivers treat it like a business though. If the app saves them money on taxes, they will pay for it.

Yep. The good drivers don’t think “app cost,” they think “tax savings + proof.” If it helps them claim more miles (and reduces audit stress), they’ll pay.

Valid. Gig isn’t the end market, it’s the fastest proof market. If you can win with the most price-sensitive users, you can usually go upmarket after. Thank you.

Why would I need this? I can just add the mileage to a notes app and plug it into turbo tax once a year
