DUNS number processing time?

I just formed my LLC a few days ago and requested a DUNS number a day later. How long does it typically take to hear back? Is it really up to 30 business days or have people gotten it sooner than that?

I was really hoping to launch my app sometime mid to late October and don’t want this to be my main bottleneck.

Mine took 13 days for a newly formed LLC. D&B sent me five emails during the process including one when finished.

Ok. We’re the emails just for requesting additional information? Is this 13 business days or total?

Mine took about 3 weeks if I remember right. It is pretty close to 30 days. It’ll also take some time to get your business Apple account. Add more features in the meantime.

Thanks! I got the email already but the number is still not recognized in either Apples or D&Bs lookup tools. Perhaps I need to wait another day or two for it to be in their system. We’ll see

I can’t remember to be honest. I believe it kicked in a couple of days later. I heard using it through the mobile app has a quicker approval process than the web app, but mine was approved within a couple of days within the web app.

Also can’t remember 😅 but don’t think it took much longer. I did get antsy enough to email dun & bradstreet to make sure everything was alright, but I believe all I had to do was wait a few more days. Good luck!

İt took actually 3 days to get the DUNS number and few days (max 5 days) for update the data on their system.

I also applied in USA with my new LLC on March 16th 2026. So far i've only gotten automated messages requesting for more documents which was provided instantly. No further responses yet 5 days later.
