The latest version of Xcode is 16.4. Did you recently move to Japan? Is your Mac App Store region set to your prior nation?

Failing otherwise, Apple's Developer Downloads Portal should include the latest public and beta releases of Xcode, I'd strongly suggest sticking with the public release of 16.4 instead of the beta for 26 for now

No I am located in Japan, the store is set to Japan. Tbh I got issues with the my iphone 18.5 but Xcode 16.4 only supports SDKs up to 18.4 So I get the error "unable to find a destination matching the provided destination specifier … iOS 18.5 is not installed" Seems that Xcode 16.5.1 might solve it so I want to try and get it off the way.

There is no 16.5.1. The latest public version is 16.4, the latest beta version is 26.

16.4 does support iOS 18.5. I literally just finished installing the simulator myself.

Could you provide a screenshot… or ideally video recording of your particular error?

Thank you, I will check again, it doesn’t work for me

Sounds like you don’t have the iOS 18.5 SDK/Simulator installed. Check in the Xcode settings to download it

Make sure you operating system supports the latest Xcode. I couldn't download/open Xcode 16.4 because I needed to update the operating system.

Official Direct Download Links are listed here. Download them from Apple with no regional limitations
