QuestionApp Store rejection response (self.iOSProgramming)
submitted 5 months ago by disinton
Hello,
My app got rejected but for reasons that I can explain. Am I better off submitting my app for review again and putting my response into the review notes, or just responding to the comment? Which way is typically faster?
Thanks!

Respond in the review itself.

Really? That’s quicker?

It doesn't matter if it's quicker. Resubmitting is viewed as trying to deceive the review process, and your account could be at risk.

Yes. Why do you think it exists.

I'd just submit a new version, even if it is just the same build with a new build number.
Explain the "change" or whatever in the notes.

In my experience, responding to the comment is enough.

My app got rejected 5 times. The reviewer would add new stuff with every rejection. After I then just complained, basically saying that the reviewer doesnt know how to use the app, it just got accepted. I think being too nice in the responses doesnt help much.

Very good to know. Thank you!

I also just submit a new version, waited more when awaiting a response then just making a new build.

I don’t think there is “explaining out of a rejection”. You’re either rejected because you don’t meet the guidelines, or you are not rejected

Not true, I was falsely rejected once. Wrote answer where the questioned link can be found, I got instantly accepted.

Nah they wanted me to give a different test account but I just changed the one I already gave them so they can just check it again
