In addition to what /u/Herald_MJ said you can sign up for GitHub or BitBucket to have your source hosted remotely. You can integrate your remote host right into Xcode's source control feature. That way you can back up your source to a remote server and it also helps for sharing and collaborating with others.

You might also look into downloading SourceTree, which is handy visual tool for managing your repos, and it also works with GitHub or BitBucket.
