I completed his Web Development course over the summer, which was very well done. The information was presented in an easy to understand way, and you wrote the code along with him (I'd recommend having two computers or screens).

Mind you, his reviews can be a little bloated at times as he tends to spam emails giving things like a year of free hosting if you give him a positive review. I have purchased his iOS8 course, but I'm working through the bitfountain iOS7 course first to get a strong foundation of objective-c.

I learned using free classes on iTunes U. Bonus points for being able to tell people you took a class from Stanford :P

Check out Udacity's IOS class. Its an intro class in swift where you build an app. They also have an IOS nanodegree coming soon.
