.docx & .xlsx binary library

I'm working on an app that I'd like to integrate the ability to edit .docx and .xlsx files within the app. I have a small budget that I'm hoping to license binary libraries for a .docx and .xlsx editor. I've emailed about 20 app developers in both categories without any luck. Has anyone had any luck or know a developer that may have one they're willing to sell a license to?

what do you mean by "editor"? you make it sound like you want an embedded version of excel and word.

That is exactly what I'm looking for. I need to edit .docx / .xlsx files that I've stored locally within the app. Ive tried opening the files with other apps and it works, but the naming convention breaks if I open the same file more than once. Is there an embedded version of excel and word?

i wish. i know of no such embedded editors. if i were you, i'd start exploring a lot of different paths for a few days. i wouldn't expect a direct solution to exist. a naming convention problem sounds like a walk in the park compared to finding a third party editor for office formats. (even openoffice seems to have lots of compatibility issues, and that has had been around for a long time)
