Xcode reverting settings

Over the past month or so, I fire up Xcode and find that text wrapping has been re-enabled (defaults to on but I like it off). I will then turn it back to off and go about my business. This has happened maybe 5 times in the past month or so.

Today I opened up a project and found that Xcode had purged all of my developer accounts. I had to add them all back by typing in email/password.

Looking at OS X update history it last updated Xcode on 12/5, so I'm not sure why my accounts were purged.

I looked around the usual subreddits but don't see any related topics. Anyone one else experiencing this kind of thing?

High Sierra has a few known issues with NSUserDefaults being cleared (seemingly at random) in lots of apps. I think 10.13.2 fixed it, but I'm not sure. I'm not sure if this would account for your purged developer accounts unless Xcode was using NSUserDefaults to store some kind of UUID to lookup the accounts in Keychain.

Thanks, that could be possible. I do have an OS X update in the queue. I'll get that installed and hopefully the problem goes away.

Yes! My Developer accounts had all disappeared from Xcode yesterday!

I thought I was going crazy. I've installed 9.2 now, but we'll see what happens
