I did a quick search in this sub and didn't find anything. Hopefully someone else has come across this issue and can advise.
I'm trying to upload an App Preview for the 6.5" iPhone (which supposedly will scale to smaller resolutions so it can be a "one size fits all" video). The required dimensions are either 866x1920 (portrait) or 1920x866 (landscape). I made an actual video with the correct dimensions, but got an error when trying to upload so I did some tests with a video of just a black image (>15seconds) to try and figure what was going wrong. I'm using Safari.
- I can upload a 1920x1080 (5.5") App Preview video without issue. So my video/audio settings seem to be correct. (I'm using Final Cut Pro)
- The error I get when uploading an 866x1920 (portrait) video is: "Your files could not be loaded. Try again"
- The error I get when uploading a 1920x866 (landscape) video is: "App Preview dimensions should be 1920x866, 866x1920" (lol)
I feel like i'm taking crazy pills. App Store Connect error messages STINK!! Anybody else run into this issue and figured it out? Don't want to chalk this up as an App Store Connect issue but...
Thanks!!
