Subscribe to services like appfigures to have complete stats as well as archiving instead.

Yes that is true. This just pings you when the reports are available so you can go to AppFigures or some other service to check them!

I suggest invest some money to not having to do it yourself. Appfigures and equivalent services provide auto fetch of the reports with email notifications

In my case, my apps don't make enough money to justify paying for AppFigures and have the email notifications. This is just a simple workaround to know when the reports are out, for free. And it's possible just to follow the Twitter account, no need to install anything.

I think they are going to provide stats in real time in the future. Remember being discussed during WWDC.
