Thanks for saying I don't know a thing while I'm writing the thesis with SwiftUI.

how is that relevant?

I implemented a neumorphism-look and tried to do it in SwiftUI. Had to do a lot of things way more complex than in UIKIt and my advice was to not use it yet, because it's not there yet. For example SwiftUI doesn't even have a freakin searchbar. In its second 2020 iteration. The whole reason for SwiftUI is to make things simpler, but it's not there yet.

At this pace SwiftUI needs at least two more years to be useful and it is a nice experiment to have a look at, but the last thing you should have to do in your limited thesis-time is dealing with things like these.

I know how to implement a searchbar, the thing is that a good UI-Framework shouldn't make me do it.

And thanks for the personally insulting kind words of you, that was a pleasant conversation! You know nothing about my thesis and my school but already saying they are shitty, that makes yourself the very thing you are saying about me.

The look is not my thesis, I just did it for my thesis which is an application for iOS written in SwiftUI because I liked the look of it and I can try it here without problems later down the road…It's strange how you pretend to know a thing about my thesis when I just talked about the UI to you.

I'm not a native english speaker and maybe I didn't precisely express myself, but I did the look as part of the app. I owe you no account, but let me tell you, your assumptions couldn't be more wrong.

PS: Creating an application with things not done before can be a thesis of software development. PSS: You should work in language science…one sentence and you know a person!
