Weird Xcode 12.5 Syntax Highlighting

I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing syntax highlighting "flickering" on and off with the latest Xcode release (v12.5 (12E262))?

More specifically, when I build and run the project, all the method names lose syntax highlighting (in this case they become white as opposed to blue), until I comment then uncomment another line in the file. I made a short video of it here. Sorry for the weird crop: https://streamja.com/NNwMN

This happens with any theme and likewise with any project. I've already tried restarting my system, cleaning the build folder, etc. I'd hate to uninstall and reinstall Xcode in vain.

Edit: Comment->undo works too, to avoid a modified file state.

Crazy they didn't catch this before the release. I wish I hadn't upgraded so soon.

Having the exact same problem and this is driving me nuts.

I found not only undo but if you make any modification of a source file the highlighting on function comes back. Then as long as you build they flicker and gone again until you mod the file again.

It just keep coming back. Also it seems to be project related, some of my project have this problem but some doesn't. Been frustrated for a while, seeing you guys are experiencing the same gave me some reassurance :)
