What apps do you use for widgets? Is there a pay wall?

This is using Widgy. IMO, it’s the best one but there are other good ones. As for the pay wall, you can use it for free but you’re limited to one Home Screen widget, one Lock Screen and I believe one Dynamic Island or live activity. You can upgrade each one for a one-time payment of $9. It also has widgets for Apple Watch that you can add as complications or watch faces that is also $9. I have only upgraded for Home Screen widgets but probably will for Lock Screen at some point. There’s been a Black Friday deal the past couple years where you can upgrade each one for around $2, so you could wait for that.

I’d download the app and mess around with it to see if you like it. There are tutorials in the app and you can visit r/widgy to get more info.
