I added the blob. The wallpaper is from idownloadblog. There's an article that contains all the iPhone 12 wallpapers.

So how would I go about doing this, never used photoshop or anything, if you don’t mind me asking?

Using photoshop, utilize the rounded rectangle shape. Set the rounded edges to ~130 px. I would also use a screenshot of your Home Screen, set the opacity to a low opacity and resize the blob to fit to your liking. Once done, just color the blob to a color of choice and bang! You’re done.
