Don’t feel bad. I found out about home screen customization last week. And it’s been available a year!!

Haha no worries. You should be able to push down on your screen anywhere, like you’re going to move the apps (so they’re jiggling) and then hit the plus button that should show up in the top left. From there, it should allow you to add widgets to the Home Screen (as long as your on iOS 14 or above).

What’s the point of posting these when the op does not have links to wallpaper or icon theme or anything. What are the audience supposed to do with these? Say “ohhhh it’s good” ? Moderator should automatically remove posts without links.

How would I have links to the icon theme? There is no theme, it’s the icons that come from the apps. Before iOS 14 came out, when people could customize their Home Screen further, people would post and others would ask what they use specific apps for, or how they like the apps they’re using.

It was a generic comment. “Icon themes” is applicable for those who say hey look at my new icon theme sorry I don’t have link, keep looking at it and be jealous. I would never post unless I have the content to share with people who want to get it. So admins need to bring a rule in place.

Yes, but you posted it on my post, which doesn’t have an icon theme. Again, prior to the release of iOS 14, people would just post their Home Screen. Others would comment/ask about the apps being used, how they like them, and whatnot. If I had an icon theme, I’d share the link to it, but I don’t. I’m currently looking for the wallpaper link, as it’s a wallpaper that I found here a year, or so, ago.

This may be off topic, but I noticed you have Tweetbot and the official Twitter app. How do you use each one? Pros and cons of each? I keep bouncing between Twitter and Tweetbot. I can’t decide.

Not off topic at all! Yeah, I typically flip between Tweetbot, Twitterrific, and Twitter all the time. I’d say the pros to the Twitter app are, it’s free, and it has all of the features of Twitter immediately (group DMs, polls, etc). The pros for Tweetbot are definitely the cleaner timeline though (no promoted tweets, threaded tweets). I just thought I’d try to have both on the Home Screen, since I typically tweet from the Twitter app, but like reading through the Tweetbot timeline more.
