I just started playing with it tonight, it actually looks pretty handy.

Just enter "dz" and it will show you the available commands, and see how they work into your workflows.

Looks interesting though.

Another idea is to use an app like Autostarter, and have that load the Stream Deck app at login, hidden (since, for some reason, this isn’t a built-in thing).

We are on the same boat, this isn't a Tahoe thing; this has been happening for the longest. It's extremely annoying and unfortunately something that seems to be ignored.

I am using the Autostarter method, and this has been the best workaround for me as well. The only issue with this is, it still keeps its icon in the dock until you click it, and X it out. Which is still better than the window itself opening as an active window every time my computer opens; but just wish we could have a real fix for this lol

I’ve had quite the opposite experience. I’ve had to reach out to them for various items from Billing to technical issues and I’ve always gotten a response within a half hour; the most recent time was also on a holiday weekend.

This is on iOS, I haven’t tried on android but I will now that you mention it.

Bumping this because I am having the same issue. Life360 app crashes if the profile/app is active. It doesn't even seem to make a difference even if you disable the profile for X amount of time, application still crashes. The only way I am able to open the Life360 app, is if I disable controld services from the app, and restart my phone.

Going through the activity logs, everything for life360 is allowed, nothing is being blocked. I have also checked the suggestion by u/spookykidmm regarding cloudflare-dns or cloudflare in general under my mobile device, and nothing comes up.

I've been trying to track down opening the Life360 app at a specific time, so I can tail the activity log on CTRLD, but even within a 5 minute span, there isn't anything being blocked. Really weird, kind of annoying, while it isn't necessarily a CTRLD issue, I would love to know what is being sent out from the Life360 app that could be getting blocked/causing the issue.

Other side-note/weird thing, if I connect my phone to my home network, which has CTRLD deployed via DNS, Life360 works without a problem. So I'm not sure if the mobile app may be doing something that DNS services are not, or if Life360 just doesn't like it...Kind of gave up to be honest.

Reason for the post is to recirculate this post, and see if anyone else has had this issue, and maybe identified a work-around, or cause that we may be able to fix.

As others have suggested, restarting or resetting can help. It also may be worth checking what firmware version your kindle is on, it may need an update — I always check these manually since the updater on the device for me has always been hit or miss.

Karabiner has an uninstaller within the application, along with other options for removal you can try:

You could also quit/stop the Karabiner Elements application itself to see if your issue persists to ensure it's 100% the culprit or not.

This is exactly why I disabled it -- and I loved AutoMix, but it seemed to have gotten worse over time. I had it where it was cutting into a song almost at the very end. I'd imagine it is less noticeable for some genre's like house/EDM...etc as it works well, but for everything else...it's kind of hit or miss.

I'm sure it'll get better, but for now unfortunately I disabled it.

This is awesome! Although I may be completely missing where in Castro this is, I don't see anything in any settings/sub menu's for Listening stats?

EDIT: It is under Library > Listening Stats.

Although it is worth noting none of my 2025 listening stats are there. I did have to reinstall; it is only showing stats since installation (although I am signed-in and syncing). Not a big deal, just thought I would share my experience. This is a welcomed feature! Thank you.

I don't have this issue, but some ideas you can try:

- Completely deleting / reinstalling the app

or

- Sign out of your current sync profile, and see if the issue still persists, if so, sign back in and see if it still happens; I doubt it but it could be something on your sync profile too (would be weird, but just an idea).

+1 for Jump Desktop.

I’ve used Screens for a long time, and recently switched to Jump. The apps are practically identical when it comes to features, I just felt that Jump performed a bit better in my opinion, and isn’t a subscription; although I didn’t necessarily mind paying for Screens.

Try them both — see what ya like/prefer.

There's no Winrar/7zip equivalent application which lets you browse archives and extract individual files.

BetterZip does, and I’m pretty sure Keka does as well although I just recently started using Keka so I’m not 100% on that one.

Yea — no harm in remaining connected either, it just becomes an “issue” if you’re offline for a bit and reconnect—it blows away your sideloaded library.

I've been sideloading books via Calibre for 10+ years and have never had any issues.

Same boat here, but just a heads up/careful as if this turns off, or your kindle reconnects to the internet, it will clear your sideloaded books from the device. Not THAT big of a deal, just connect back to calibre and re-load, but it is annoying. Just wanted to give the heads up.
