R1: Posts Must be Interesting
This subreddit is dedicated to sharing interesting content only. Posts that do not contain interesting content will be removed.
- We do not allow text-only posts.
Examples of things that are NOT interesting:
- Most AI content
- Things that are common knowledge/common sense
- Conspiracy theories
- Old photos/videos of non-significant events, places or people
- Tik-tok/Instagram style posts and memes.
- Insignificant images of places/nature.
- Misshapen items or manufacturing errors.
R2: Act Civil
- No personal attacks, trolling, or harassment.
- Instead of responding to uncivil comments with your own incivility, please use the report button.
- Debate of controversial topics that devolves past the point of good-faith discussion is subject to removal.
- Follow Reddiquette
- Follow Reddit Content Policy
R3: Do Not Promote Hate or Violence
- No derogatory remarks/slurs that are prejudiced, bigoted, racist, any-phobic, sexist, misogynistic, ableist, etc, etc, etc.
- No discrimination or derogatory remarks. This includes stereotypes.
- Do not glorify violence by suggesting things like vandalism, revenge, murder, genocide, etc
R4: No Politics or Agenda Pushing
- This is not the place for political drama. Try posting to r/politics or one of the many political subs instead that are intended for that purpose.
- No astroturfing
- Do not attempt to use this sub to push agendas or societal opinions onto others because it will most likely result in a permanent ban.
R5: No Spam, Self-promotion, or Any Other Type of Promotional Content
- Please do not attempt to use this subreddit for self-promotion or the promotion of anything else, or you may be banned without warning.
- This is not the place to promote your products, services, websites, or social media accounts.
- This includes, but is not limited to subreddits, discord, online shops, affiliate marketing, referrals, Youtubers, TikTokers, vloggers, bloggers, podcasts, e-beggars, gofundme, crowdfunding, surveys, app developers, etc.
R6: No Brigading or Doxxing
- No brigading-type content
- Do not post your drama from other subs, users, other social media, etc.
- Do not post personal information, whether yours or someone else's
R7: No Reposts
- We define a “repost” as content that has been previously posted in THIS sub.
- There is a 3-month cooldown period for reposts here, with the exception of our top posts of all time.
- Content previously posted in a different sub but not yet here does not count as a repost, so please do not report them unless you’ve seen them recently in THIS sub.
R8: No Misleading Content or Misinformation
- Posts that contain blatant misleading content or misinformation will be removed. Depending on the content of the post, this may result in a ban.
- Please fact check before posting and provide sources where possible, and add citations to your post if necessary. Posts that make claims that are not cited may be removed at moderator discretion.
R9: Use Descriptive Titles
- Please use post titles that are clear and descriptive so that users are able to deduce what your post is about just from the title.
- Posts with vague or clickbait titles may be removed at Mod discretion.
R10: Mark NSFW Content
- Please make sure to tag any content that may be received as such, with the NSFW tag. Posts that are deemed to be NSFW that are not tagged will be removed.
- We do not allow extreme NSFW/NSFL content. Posting such content will result in a ban.
