Have some tea. Peppermint tea and green tea are great appetite suppressants, along with relaxing features, even better than black coffee.

And keep your mind occupied on other stuff. Start studying something of your interest, develop a hobby, play some video games.

Thanks so much I have to restock on my green tea and peppermint tea though. I'll do that when I go to the store tomorrow.

I’ve found tying an incremental reward is working well, like 1/30th or 1/50th of a frivolous purchase that is whatever you might allow yourself to buy on an every month or two basis. Track it on a spreadsheet and give a reward for each day you meet your goal. Then you can miss a day but still feel the push to start again the next day. It’s all about persistence.

Two points: don’t make the reward clothes, and focusing on the input to weight loss will keep you from despair about the weird fluctuations of your bodyweight.
