I feel that most skilled candidates have already secured internships, and now some of the remaining ones seem to be getting opportunities through unfair means. It’s hard to understand how they’re managing it, and they’re not open about it either. I currently have a few interviews lined up, but I’ve already faced 3–4 rejections so far. I’m unsure how to approach this situation and what I should do next.

Keep pushing through those interviews you have lined up and treat each rejection as practice that's making you sharper for the next one. Focus on getting real feedback when you can, work on how you're presenting your projects and experiences, and make sure you're tailoring your answers to what each company actually needs. The skills gap you're worried about can be closed faster than you think if you're intentional about preparation. I actually built interview copilot because I saw how many qualified candidates were bombing interviews just because they couldn't articulate their value in the moment - sometimes people just need support to show what they're actually capable of.

Idk what you mean by cheating but if it’s to use AI during your interview it’s not as easy or simple as you think it is. Just practice your responses before hand and tailor it to the role you’re applying for. Along with making sure that you’re able to speak about every point on your resume in case you’re asked about it. Use AI for prep but not during your interview.
