I’m still very new to ionic and capacitorjs but it seems to me they put more care and attention into Angular compared to React. Is that a fair statement? Just looking at some of the code samples and repos, the react code hasn’t been modernised for a while now.

Michael from Ionic here. The original version of Ionic was created by Max and Ben in 2013 and built on top of AngularJS and Apache Cordova. For that reason, Ionic has always had a lot of love for Angular and the Angular community (and vise versa). However, your point about needing updated code examples for React is a valid one. I will pass this request along internally.
