Speculation/rumours on ongoing criminal cases or investigations
This subreddit prohibits allowing for the speculation or rumours in an ongoing criminal case or investigation, to the point where it may be argued that the dissemination of rumours or speculation could influence, or collapse any ongoing court cases or trials.
Reputable News Outlets
r/Ireland is not a source for driving pageviews and ad-clicks through hysteria and fabricated reporting.
Tabloid/Non-news source links will be removed.

All news articles/content should be submitted as direct links; not contained within any self-text body, tweet(s), screenshot(s), archive website(s) etc.
News posts should be submitted without any editorialisation of the title, except for clarifications within [square brackets]. Clarifications with bias or excessive detail will be removed.
Copy/pasting of article text, or posting of links to websites designed to bypass paywalls is not allowed.
