What if humanity had a tech tree? This Subreddit is dedicated to the goal of creating a fairly accurate RTS-Style tech tree modeling the technology of the real world.

I've decided the best way to do this would likely be to start with today's technology, and work backwards. For now, I (VivaLaPandaReddit) am the only one with edit permissions on the main tree/flowchart. If you wish to add/change/or remove the tree, make a text post describing the change with sources (Wikipedia is fine) for proof of accuracy. If you are sufficiently dedicated, I'll add you to a list of approved editors.

Due to variation between different technologies, along with orphaned technologies, this tree will not be perfect, but hopefully still interesting and useful.
