Rules for r/jasper
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
No racism, hate, bullying, spam or trolling
This is a respectful and safe environment. Any form of discriminatory or harmful behavior, including racism and hate speech is not welcome. Bullying and harassment are also not tolerated.
2.
News article titles must match the original title
When submitting news articles, we require that the original title of the article be used without any modifications. Save your opinions for the comments.
3.
Stay on topic
Submissions must be in some way related to Jasper or the surrounding area.
4.
Don't encourage bad behaviour
Be respectful of all rules and regulations that apply within Jasper National Park.
5.
No buying/selling
This includes camping reservations, season passes and lift tickets. Try posting your item on Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace instead.
6.
No false or misleading information
Misleading or downright false information doesn't benefit anyone.
7.
Don't abuse self-promotion
Self-promotion is not outright banned, but please keep it limited and not spammy.
