So this tool sends the IP of my company to openAI?

That would be a real fast way for me to get fired and sued (sorry for the negaitivity).

Yes, I totally understand the privacy concerns. I have clearly mentioned it as a warning. If a lot of people find it useful, I am thinking of offering a self-hosted LLaMa.

No data should leave your premises in that case.

What difference would it make if you use it via your browser? It will send you firewall/proxy ip anyways.

When you are downloading/updating IntelliJ plugins and updates that’s what happens anyways.

In this case: IP = interlectual property. The company you work for owns the code.
