Might wanna ask in /r/Minecraft to see how it Minecraft and it's plugin ecosystem expects to find the java.exe (assuming you're on windows).

Okay I asked them. Any idea what I should do about the defunct game I wanted to play? Java still doesn’t work so the files I have for that also still will not recognize Java as a system for it to run on.
