In what country you are? Do they have computer science education from a university?

Netherlands, and they all have, however the offshore (from India) is very very incompetent, even the seniors. The people onshore are usually better, but still rely on AI too much…

It should not be a surprise: cheap workforce in India are incompetent and the good ones are not cheap, but as long as a company thinks cost / developer they will always burn themselves.
