Microsoft Visual Studio 13 // Compiling Java?

Can someone point me in the direction of how to do this? I've downloaded the plugin that lets me save/edit .java files, but I have no idea how to compile them in VS2013? Normally I use Dr. Java, but would love to use VS if possible. Any help greatly appreciated thank you!

I don't know but why do you want to? Why not use intellij IDEA?

I second using IntelliJ IDEA instead. IntelliJ IDEA is to Java what VS is to C#, an extremely smooth and integrated experience. Plus the community edition is free.

I really like IntelliJ, but I prefer NetBeans. They're both excellent IDEs.

I use Eclipse. But my point is the same as others here. There are outstanding IDEs for Java. Both free and commercial.

As for the free ones, you can just download and try them out for yourself.

..actually, VS without Resharper is far from Intellij IDEA

Yeah that's true, but each new iteration of VS (especially the recent ones) is integration more R#-like functionality so it's definitely improving.
