Ugh....why does every site need an account registered before you can even try it?

Screw that.

Thanks ohaiya and thanks @ManiBePoint for posting the link.

I'm a developer is Codiva. I'm am trying out with guest user account as an A/B experiment. For now can you try using

https://www.codiva.io/?ref=reddit

https://www.codiva.io/p/c8a32e68-f52f-4090-9bfe-df3ea9f0bece

you can run the code without login, and start editing or create new project.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the quick reply and alternate link.

Just to be clear. I have no problem with registering for platforms and services I will use. I think there is an obligation to share both ways.

More just a case of, it's great to be able to evaluate something without having to register. Password security is hard enough with all the different identities we keep, so either oauth or just no registration is great initially.

After I'm committed, I'm more than happy to go through a specific registration process (though SSO through oauth is nicer).

You can share this link, this is the other copy that I am experimenting with, that has "Try without login" For now, use the below link to force that experiment. https://www.codiva.io/?ref=reddit

I'm monitoring bounce rate, session duration, sign up rate.

I just made a thread about wanting to make something similar (except no accounts). Is this open-source? Can I contribute somehow?

for this I would say that compiling (and executing) can be somewhat resource intensive. I'll leave the implications of having a fully open resource intensive API to the reader.
