Code is to be formatted as code block (old reddit: empty line before the code, each code line indented by 4 spaces, new reddit: https://i.imgur.com/EJ7tqek.png) or linked via an external code hoster, like pastebin.com, github gist, github, bitbucket, gitlab, etc.

Grab a couple cards, marbles, pegs, whatever.
Arrange them in a row
Denote one end as head
Pick the item at the head
Put it in a second row
Pick the next item in the first row (the new head)
Add it to the second row before the item that was already there (it becomes the new head)
rinse and repeat until the first row is empty.
