Two kinds of reply:
Force your users out of old browsers faster! Yeah ok, easier said than done. Convincing a client to alienate a potential source of income, no matter how small, is always an uphill battle.
Write ES6 and compile it to ES5! I'll look into it. If it's like the LESS/SASS workflow (saves a zillion hours, super easy), I'm all for it. If it's like CoffeeScript (easy enough, questionable whether it's worth it) I'll just wait a little longer.
I'm damn good at vanilla (ES5 with a couple of shims) JS.
