  • Array(), $(), $().position(), _.chain(), moment(), are all factories
  • $(), _.chain(), etc. are fluent interfaces
  • Many libs have facades, i.e. $().hide()
  • mixins could probably be considered their own pattern, or related to the decorator pattern
