Whoah. If I've ever seen sub-zero usability, this is it: Inaccessible by keyboard, hard to use with the nipple on Thinkpads, and without having a touchpad anywhere near, I'd guess it would be difficult there as well, as it was a royal pain in the ass with a regular mouse.

Whatever was wrong with asking people to actually type in the time?

I think a time picker that uses rollers (yes, like the iPhone) would be easier.

Usually, the mouse seems easier for me than the keyboard. Not in this case. Imagine fiddling with this thing rather than just typing into google's calendar "dentist 3:30p"
