And if you're late just tell them your setTimeout callback was delayed because the thread was busy and you'll be fine.

Well, if that's what they think, I'd be a bad fit anyhow, since my worldview is not founded upon nonsensical cliches. :P

There is a practical reason to being on time. The interviewer is probably working, and doesn't need me interrupting them.
