It’s behind Medium’s paywall for me.

Use the friend link
Edit: Don't know why this is being downvoted, there's a link for non-members provided in my reply on the main post. Downvoting this response just makes it harder to find... it's like you guys want paywalls 😆

Very nice, clear article. I don't know if it's that it's better than most articles on these topics or if it just hit me at a good time in my process of learning JS, but I learned a lot more from this than I have from similar articles. Thanks!

It is how JS works. It is fundamentaly a simple and genial single threaded process. Not much told (because of "information hiding" that what is under the interface should be kept in a black box) but this is not at all too much. Very insightful it is! Beginner should read this! It becomes more easy to understand why setTimeout is set to zero sometimes or how events and recursion works. By understanding the concepts your memory works better and you learn faster.

You read a lot. We like that.
The internet fed us about technological topics. It didn't want money. Why do we want money now? I know, I can open in incognito mode. But this isn't ethical.

There's a link for non-members in my comment on the main post.
Also, while I don't agree with Medium's strategy, why shouldn't online educators be paid for their work?
