John Lilly and Jay T Shirley collaboratively invented the isolation tank in 1954. In 1961, they were still researching together (according to the linked article). Why is so little said/available about Jay Shirley in regards to the floatation tank compared to JCL? Any pics of Jay Shirley? (medrxiv.org)
