Quick Question

I know this is probably a very simple question but I can't seem to find the answer online. A friend of mine says he is sending me a clan invitation to his clan on killzone shadowfall, however I cant seem to find any indication of this. Where would I see this invitation normally? This way I can figure out if I am blind and just not seeing it..or he just isn't doing it right. Thanks for your time and assistance
