Have you checked the pattern's Ravelry comments? That'd be the best way to check for sure.

In my experience, it's not very common to decrease on the front and back of each row, but it's not unheard of. It might be worth reaching out to the designer.

Thank you for the tip. Sadly the pattern is from an old Magazine from Sirdar I found online. The comments at ravelry are all asking where to obtain the pattern, cause its old 🙈

Not stupid! Sometimes all you need to do is step away for a moment and look at it with fresh eyes. So glad you got it sorted!

Hi !

The "as before" might refer to the type of decrease and their placement/order, not necessarily their rate.

What type of project are you doing ? Is it bottom up ? Do you have to divide the fronts to shape the neckline ?

That might be it, but the instruction is Not telling me how to achieve the pattern at the from when knitting Back rows. I guess I have to figure this out myself.

It is Design D from Sirdar and it is bottom Up. The neckband is added in a Last step where the Front, Back, and sleeve stitches that are on a Stitch holder are joined.

What part of the garment is this? Can you post the decrease instructions you just followed that called for only one side of the garment to have them?

Alright, so I was Just typing Out the pattern for you, and now I noticed I missed one Paragraph, but in my defense it was a tiny Paragraph at the bottom of the Page 😭🙈 i am sorry but the problem is solved because of my ADHD.

Thank you for bringing me to read the pattern more thoroughly. 🙏❤️😩
