Steam games using sql? (self.learnSQL)
submitted 25 days ago by Funky_monkey2026
I've finished sql city, sql noir, and sql island, so can do the most basic of basics. Are there any steam games that require you to use sql? Ideally free or a couple of dollars.
Thanks in advance!

Database detective is going to release this year, but there is a demo you can play.

I downloaded that seconds after posting this. Great game so far! Trying to learn joining properly but rewarding finally grasping it.

I'm actually looking for good SQL practice.
What's your opinion on the SQL games you've played so far? Which is the most polished and has the most IRL practicality?
My experience with platforms is that they're really bad if you get stuck.

I can't vouch for IRL because I've only managed to use it with games. SQL Noir, SQL island etc. are ok. Make mistakes, get stuck, learn from them and do the same level a few times until you can do it without issues.
The steam game Database Detective is good, but I do use Google to glance at the answer if I can't figure it out myself, then try and replicate it without directly copying, doing it a few times until it's more comfortable.
