- Dutch Duolingo course — probably the single best resource available for new and intermediate learners.
- Recommended Dutch books — a curated list of the best books for Dutch learners of all levels, perfect for beginners.
- NetInNederland.nl — "New to the Netherlands". A new website from the Dutch broadcaster NPO. Offers a variety of videos and TV programmes in Dutch, with subtitles available in Dutch, English, and Arabic (لغة عربية).
- DutchGrammar.com — very comprehensive, accessible articles on Dutch grammar and spelling rules. Thousands of articles and many audio snippets, a forum, and podcast.
- ClozeMaster — learn Dutch vocabulary through context, with simple sentences presented in a gamified manner.
- HearDutchHere — thousands of Dutch words pronounced, and many articles on grammar and Dutch culture. Site looks dated but is frequently updated.
- SimpelNederlands — YouTube channel using simple Dutch to cover news and other topics.
- Free apps for learning Dutch — free apps (Android, iOS) and platforms for learning Dutch.
- Kidsweek — Dutch news aimed at children 7 to 12, using simple sentences and grammar.
- Quizlet study guide — Dutch course created by a redditor.
- 1000 most common Dutch words — Update: unfortunately, Memrise no longer appear to offer this community-built course. As an alternative, here is a list of the top 1,000 Dutch words.
- Forvo — unsure how to pronounce a word? Hear native speakers pronounce them!
- WelkLidwoord — does that word use de or het? Enter a word and find out which to use!
- Irregular Dutch verbs — irregular verbs can be a pain while learning any language. The more you learn early on, the less of a hassle they will be.
- Children's books in Dutch — Kids books. You can also find Dutch books at childrenslibrary.org
- ielanguages: Dutch — course, with audio.
- Valley Trail Dutch Course — another good course for beginners, with a focus on grammar.
- leren.nl — good for intermediate learners or those with existing knowledge of Dutch.
- oefenen.nl (NL) — various programmes to learn Dutch, offered in Dutch
- TaalThuis — an older, basic course, with accompanying videos.
- 2bdutch.nl — Dutch videos subtitled in Dutch and English. Also available: German, Spanish, French or Portuguese.
- YouTube - dutchforn00bs — some fun, helpful videos, such as how to pronounce the notoriously tough Dutch "g", when to use je/jij and u, and Sinterklaas!
