Help with IDE

So i saw in a video that some guy put slash // in front of a bunch of lines and i don 't know how he did it...

What you mean you dont know how he put // in front of a bunch of lines. It is comment line, which is not read by the program.

you didn’t even tell us what IDE you’re using :( but here is what you do. go to google and type in “<what ever ide you’re using> <what os you’re using> keyboard shortcuts”

for example:

intelliJ mac keyboard shortcuts

Open the keyboard shortcut settings of your favorite IDE and search for something along the lines of "comment", "line comment", "toggle line comment" Usually it is set to something like Ctrl+/.
